The Ride Isn’t Over Yet
Damage-Free Motorcycle Towing, Wherever the Ride Takes You
The roads that draw riders to Far West Texas are the same ones that leave you stranded a long way from the nearest shop. A dropped bike on a blind curve, a blown engine outside Lajitas, a flat 40 miles from Alpine — out here, who you call matters as much as how fast they show up.
Alpine Towing hauls motorcycles the way they should be hauled: on a flatbed, with soft straps and a proper wheel chock — never a wheel-lift, never chains over painted tanks and chromed pipes. Owner Grady Moran brings over 25 years of heavy-equipment and recovery experience to every call, and treats a $30,000 bagger with the same care he’d give his own.
Built for the Roads You Came to Ride
We Know These Routes — Because We Run Them Every Day
Far West Texas is a bucket-list ride for a reason, and a breakdown out here is a different animal than one in town. When your bike quits along one of these routes, we already know exactly where you are and what it takes to reach you.
River Road (FM 170)
The 64-mile run between Presidio and Study Butte along the Rio Grande — tight curves, steep grades, off-camber blind corners and low-water crossings through Big Bend Ranch State Park. It’s one of the most celebrated motorcycle roads in Texas, and one of the most unforgiving places to break down. Cell service drops out for long stretches, so a rider who can’t call for help waits a lot longer with an outfit that doesn’t know the road. We’re the same crew that covers Big Bend towing across this whole corridor.
TX-118 · Alpine to Study Butte
The main artery riders take from Alpine down to the park’s western gateway — big sweeping desert miles with almost no traffic, and almost no services if something goes wrong halfway. We stage out of Alpine right on this route.
The Davis Mountains Loop
The TX-118 / TX-166 loop out of Fort Davis climbs through the highest town in Texas and some of the best cornering in the region. When a ride up here turns into a recovery, we’re minutes closer than anyone dispatched from out of the area.
Handled the Right Way
How We Haul Your Bike
Loading a motorcycle is nothing like loading a car. One wrong strap point or a slipped chock, and a simple tow becomes a repair bill. Here’s how we protect your bike from the moment we arrive.

The Reviews Speak For Themselves

Top Notch and Honest! I am very pleased with Alpine Towing. Nice guy! Reasonable prices! Charged me the same price to bring my vehicle Austin that others wanted to charge me to go an hour away. Alpine was a ray of light in a sea of darkness. Thank you again!

Grady with Alpine Towing did not just tow my car to the mechanic, he asked if we were safe, had food and water, and he even stopped at the store for me to get a couple of additional supplies to see us through our unexpected extended stay. I would 💯 recommend Alpine Towing.

What really stood out was his honesty. The price was fair, the service was excellent, and there was none of the attitude or runaround we got from other towing companies. In a moment when everything felt like it was going wrong, Alpine Towing was a huge relief.
